The Webmasters Page

This page is dedicated to answering those deep technical questions that don't fit in anywhere else or may not be directly to do with AFIL.

What is the AFIL web site written in?

I used Microsoft Expression Web.

Does the AFIL web site need any particular web browser?

No. Any modern web browser like IE6 or Firefox will work just fine. Because I used a Microsoft tool to author the HTML code, it will probably work best using a Microsoft web browser, but I deliberately tried to make it so it's not a requirement that you use Internet Explorer to view the site.

Does your site place any 'cookies' on my computer?

No. There are no cookie files or other record keeping traces of data left behind by this web site.

Where did you get the photos you use?

They come from several sources;

I tried to access your site last weekend, but it didn't work. What's wrong?

Probably nothing was wrong. There are times when maintenance has to be done so there are times when the web server needs to be off line. If you can't get through, just try again in a while, and we'll probably be back then.

Remember to use a modern web browser and set your PC's screen resolution to 1024x768 and it will all work out just fine.
